I loved the challenge I set myself with this one — capturing a huddle of Gannet birds with almost no obvious colour on them. It forced me to really look at the subtle blues, greys, and warm creams in their feathers, and let the tenderness of their togetherness carry the piece.
It’s a quietly striking painting that rewards a second look. Beautiful in a bedroom, reading nook, or as part of a gallery wall with other bird prints from my collection.

Mounting & Framing: It is recommended to frame watercolour paintings behind glass or acrylic to keep them safe from moisture. They can be framed with or without a mount.
