Meet Goldie — a sulphur-crested cockatoo I absolutely loved painting. The challenge and the joy of this piece was capturing a bird that is almost entirely white — finding the subtle blues, greys, and creams in the feathers, and letting that vivid yellow crest be the star of the show.
Goldie brings elegance and a touch of the exotic to any wall. She’s a natural companion to the other bird portraits in my collection.
